Shalom Homestay is located at Blimbingsari Village, just 5 minute walk to low land tropical Rainforest of West Bali National Park.

We have 4 rooms double bed, clean, quite, basic facility with AC, hot shower. We are happy to welcome the guest.

The village of Blimbingsari is a small village on the western tip of the island of Bali which all the people are the Balinese tribe who are Christians, they are the Balinese who became the first Christians in Bali, and the culture of Bali is still inherent in their daily life.

A church with a temple-like bali architecture is a blend of Balinese culture and Christianity that is the center of life in this village as well as a buffer zone of a National Park area.

   Yes, the lowland tropical rainforest of West Bali National Park is behind this village and has not been much publicity although there are some foreign guests who have been taken to explore this forest. Jungle Trekking is one activity that can be done in addition to birdwatching and birding photography (guided by Made Surya)



   There are about 30 more different species birds around this forest, some are rare and endemic like Flame-fronted Barbet, Yellow-throated hanging Parrot, White-shouldered Triller, Scarlet-headed Flowerpecker, Javan Munia, Sunda Scope Owl, Oriental Pied Hornbill , Javan Banded Pitta and many more. There is also a conservation program and the breeding center of Bali Myna whose purpose is the protection to be released in nature. The blend of nature and culture in this village is a conventional alternative tour that you can try.
